I wanted to share with you an article published yesterday in the Puget Sound Business Journal with an interview from a very well respected economist in the Seattle area, Matthew Gardner. In it he shares his perspective of the growth we are experiencing locally and dispells the notion that we have another bubble forming. It is short and a well worth your time to read.
Personally I agree with everything he is saying, we have job growth, and continued population influx to our area creating a huge demand for housing. On the flip side we have unprecidented short supply of homes available. I don’t see this situation changing drastically anytime soon.
